Our client, a successful and growing manufacturing company based in Gillingham, is looking for 2 Assembly & Fabrication Operatives to join their skilled workshop team.

What You''ll Be Doing

As an Assembly & Fabrication Operative, you''ll play a key role in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke equipment, ensuring every product is built to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling fabricated parts, components, and sub-assemblies using hand tools.
• Using power and pneumatic tools to fit and secure components.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Carrying out quality inspections throughout the build process.
• Identifying and reporting any issues while contributing to practical solutions.
• Supporting improvements within the workshop to increase efficiency and quality.
• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.

What We''re Looking For

We''d love to hear from candidates with experience in:

• Manufacturing, production, workshop, assembly, fabrication, engineering, or construction environments.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical or engineering drawings.
• Working accurately with excellent attention to detail.
• Being reliable, hardworking, and quality-focused.
• Working effectively as part of a team.

Experience with fabrication, UPVC, aluminium, mechanical assembly, CNC machinery, or building from drawings would be highly advantageous.
