About the Role
Pertemps Leeds Commercial is seeking Assemblers and Routine Operatives for a horticultural client based in Brough. This full-time, temporary position offers £13.70 per hour, with a working pattern of Sunday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (occasionally until 4:00pm). Key responsibilities include operating a Counterbalance FLT with a clamp attachment, loading pallets, manual alignment, and hand-stacking duties for around two hours per shift. Training on the Grab FLT attachment is provided. Candidates should possess a valid FLT licence and a strong work ethic. Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a horticultural client, for an FLT Driver to join their friendly and supportive team based in Brough.

The Role:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT with a 3m extension
- Using a Grab FLT attachment (Training will be provided)
- Loading and moving pallets safely around site
- Aligning pallets manually (by hand) when required
- Supporting with hand-stacking duties (approximately 2 hours per shift)
- Ensuring 24 pallets are prepared and ready by 8am
- Working within a busy but welcoming & safe environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (Accredited licence preferred, i.e. RTITB or ITSARR)
- Previous Grab FLT experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working both on and off the truck
- Reliable with a strong working mindset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Shift & Pay:
- Sunday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Some shifts may extend until 4:00pm depending on workload
- X2 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- £13.70 per hour with potential for pay progression
Recruitment Process:
- Initial site induction
- 30-minute FLT assessment
If successful, candidates will then need to complete a paid 8-hour trial day before starting their assignment fully.
