Assembler

Our Client is looking for an Assembler for a 1 year contract to start 1st October in Stonehouse (GL10) Working hours 7:00 am until 2:30 pm. There will be no shift work, however, we do foresee that overtime may be required Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week Rate: £15-£20 per hour (PAYE) Job Title: Assembler Mission The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Key Functions: Read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures and follow written and oral instructions. Identify components and use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, operate assembly equipment and tools, Accurately assemble oilfield completion products and tool assemblies Test assembled products and tool assemblies Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with products and assemblies Create labour records for all transactions in the relevant business system Document records of work performed in the relevant business system Perform daily 5S activities and participate in lean manufacturing projects Perform preventative maintenance on machines using written instructions and checklist Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies Successfully complete required safety trainings including but not limited to crane, forklift, drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving Special Knowledge and Skills: ..... full job details .....
