We are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives in Ipswich, Suffolk. If you have any mechanical engineering experience, we''d love to hear from you.

A well-established manufacturer is expanding its team in anticipation of a significant rise in production later this summer.

The role offers a starting pay of around -13.50 per hour, with flexibility depending on experience. There will also be opportunities for pay reviews following a successful probation period.

Assembly Operative duties: -

• Operating various hand / power tools to assemble mechanical parts & components.
• Machining as and when required
• Ability to read & work from engineering drawings
• Always maintain a clean & tidy work environment
• Ensure the company''s health & safety procedures are always adhered to

Previous product experience is desirable but not essential. We will consider any applicants who have basic knowledge of assembly or mechanics.

You must be a competent user of hand and power tools and be able to read from technical drawings independently.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 06:30-15:00. Overtime available at increased rates of pay.

This is a permanent role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
