Location: Huddersfield

Pay: -24,500+ with view to rise after successful training

Duration: Permanent

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5 paid hours per week, 30 minute unpaid lunch)

Stafflex are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading UK designer and manufacturer of health equipment who are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the team. The manufacturing technician is responsible for assembling various components and products according to specified guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Personal attributes:

• Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic maths and measurement skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically active, with some lifting required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and multitask environment.
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery.
• Off-site working - required at times for installation of equipment, servicing or repair work.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred, but not essential for the right applicant.

Essential skills needed for the role:

• Full UK Driving License Required
