Assembler

Our client who has been established for over 15 years, are a UK go-to provider of innovative solutions of fluid disposal in hospitals and clinics. They are currently looking for an Assembler to join their small, dedicated team on a part time basis in Hastings, East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar warehouse/packing/assembly role, be able to follow instructions, possess a good eye for detail and be a strong team player. As an Assembler you will be assembling products such as metal frames for hospital use and plastic taps using a sanding machine and heat gun, as well as bagging, packaging and labelling products ready for dispatch. This role will also involve manual loading/unloading from shipping containers and moving pallets/boxes within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: Demonstrable experience within a similar warehouse/packing/assembly role Ability to follow instructions Possess a good eye for detail Be physically fit as this role does involve heavy lifting and operating a pallet truck Be a strong team player Your duties as an Assembler would be: Assembling company products, such as metal frames for hospital use and plastic taps using a sanding machine and heat gun, as instructed Packaging and labelling all products securely and neatly Ensuring all raw materials used and final products meet with quality requirements Warehouse duties such as moving incoming stock, preparing ..... full job details .....
