We are recruiting for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing team supporting advanced technology programmes.Working within a high-precision environment, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration and testing of complex mechanical systems and sub-assemblies, helping to transform engineering concepts into functional hardware.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from aerospace, defence, satellite, medical device or other advanced manufacturing environments who enjoy working on complex, low-volume, high-quality products.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and integrate precision mechanical components and sub-assembliesInterpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentationConduct basic functional testing and inspectionsUse precision measurement equipment to verify tolerances and quality standardsWork with a variety of materials, fastening methods and assembly processesIdentify build issues and support problem-solving activitiesMaintain accurate manufacturing records and documentationSupport continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiativesEssential Skills and ExperienceMinimum 2 years'' experience within a precision assembly or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsExperience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers and gaugesExperience working to tight tolerances and quality standardsStrong ..... full job details .....
