As an Aspiring Youth Offending Officer, you will support young people who may be at risk of offending or disengaging from education. You''ll work as part of a small, passionate team, delivering targeted interventions and fostering positive relationships that encourage behavioural change, personal development, and educational re-engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties
• Plan and deliver 1:1 and small group sessions focused on positive choices and behaviour
• Liaise with external agencies, including the Youth Offending Service and local safeguarding teams
• Support reintegration into mainstream education or onward progression pathways
• Maintain clear boundaries, promote safety, and model professional behaviour

Experience & Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people in alternative provision, youth work, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting at-risk youth
• Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
