You will support vulnerable children and teenagers who have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for an aspiring psychologist to build their experience in mental health support, promoting the opportunity for further study or training in the future.As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with children with a range of mental health challenges. These pupils may also present with additional learning difficulties, such as Autism and ADHD, or behavioural challenges. Your role will involve both academic support and emotional guidance. You will also assist them in developing essential skills such as emotional literacy, self-regulation, positive social interactions, and resilience.
