We''re looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school setting in the Godalming area. You''ll be supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19 with:

PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)

SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)

Physical disabilities

Verbal and non-verbal communication needs

Cognitive delays and developmental challenges

ResponsibilitiesYou will support students with complex needs across the age range in a specialist school setting. This includes assisting with learning activities, supporting communication, and helping pupils access a safe and engaging environment. You don’t need school-based experience—backgrounds in care, support work, or personal care are highly relevant.

Qualifications and Requirements

Backgrounds in care, support work, or personal care are considered highly relevant

Preferred but not required: willingness to pursue roles in related fields such as Speech and Language Therapy, Cognitive or Behavioural Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Play Therapy

Driving or access to a lift is strongly recommended due to the school’s location
