ASD Tutor - 1:1 Support (20-Year-Old Learner)Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced and understanding Tutor to support a 20-year-old learner with ASD on a 1:1 basis.The learner has diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and presents with needs across cognition and learning, communication and interaction, sensory and physical needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH).This role requires a tutor who can provide structured, personalised support while building confidence, engagement, and independence in learning.Location: Fareham and GosportHours: 12 hours per weekStart Date: SeptemberType: 1:1 TutoringThis is an excellent opportunity to support a young adult with complex needs through a calm, consistent, and learner-centred approach.RequirementsExperience working with learners with ASD and/or OCDUnderstanding of SEN needs across communication, cognition, sensory processing, and SEMHAbility to adapt learning to meet individual needsPatient, reliable, and empathetic approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or SEN supportEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Interested?If you areinterested in this opportunity, apply or contact us to find out more. ..... full job details .....
