This role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with an EHCP, helping them to access learning, develop independence and thrive within the classroom environment.This is a rewarding long-term opportunity for someone with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), who is passionate about making a positive impact on a child''s educational journey.Key Responsibilities:Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHDSupporting the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning strategiesPromoting focus, engagement and participation within lessonsUsing autism-friendly approaches to support communication, routine and emotional regulationImplementing ADHD strategies to support attention, organisation and task completionEncouraging independence, self-confidence and positive peer interactionsWorking collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staffAdapting learning activities to meet the pupil''s individual needsWhat the School is Looking For:Previous experience supporting children with ASD and ADHDKnowledge of neurodiverse learning ..... full job details .....
