ASD Teacher (Working with Autism) – Hackney

Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

GSL Education is recruiting an ASD Teacher to join a specialist provision in Hackney, teaching pupils with Autism and associated learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with ASC.

• Implement structured teaching approaches such as TEACCH or PECS.

• Work closely with TAs and therapists to meet each student’s needs.

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Previous experience working with pupils with Autism desirable.

• Knowledge of safeguarding and SEN strategies.
