ASD Specialist - Small Group SEN Setting - East SussexIf you are experienced in supporting children and young people with Autism and complex communication needs, this could be a great opportunity to work in a genuinely specialist environment.We are recruiting for an ASD-focused role within a small-group setting, where pupils benefit from a more individualised approach to learning and support.You will be working closely with pupils on a small-group basis, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally.The role:Supporting pupils with ASD and associated needsWorking within a small-group environmentProviding consistent, individualised supportSupporting communication, regulation and engagementWorking alongside teaching and specialist staffExperience with ASD, sensory needs, communication difficulties, Makaton/PECS or other communication approaches would be beneficial.Location: East SussexHours: Full-time / Part-time opportunitiesThis is an ideal opportunity for an experienced SEN professional who prefers a smaller, more specialist setting and enjoys building strong relationships with pupils.
