ASD and PMLD Teaching Assistant

At NYKays Recruitment Ltd we are recruiting for experienced ASD and PMLD Teaching Assistants to start ASAP, working day to day or long-term contracts which could possibly lead to a permanent position. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support schools in providing care and support to children with a range of Special Needs and behavioral difficulties within the Education/Special Needs sector. It is essential that you have experience working with children/young people with learning difficulties, particularly autism to be considered for this role. Responsibilities include: Support children with ASD and SEN on a 1:1 basis Assist teachers with daily teaching and learning activities Support colleagues with personal care tasks Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and productive environment Follow school policies on safeguarding, child protection, behavior management, and health and safety Support children with PMLD and SEN on a 1:1 basis Assist teachers with daily teaching and learning activities Support colleagues with personal care tasks Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and productive environment Follow school policies on safeguarding, child protection, behavior management, and health and safety Requirements: Experience supporting children with ASD, PMLD, and other challenging behaviors At least 3 months of experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant with children with special needs Committed to working with children with SEN and complex ..... full job details .....
