Contract Length: 5-week contract
The Role: Are you an asbestos surveyor looking for a highly unique and technically challenging contract opportunity? We are seeking a qualified professional to join us for a minimum 5-week contract based at a live nuclear decommission site in Oxfordshire.
This is not your standard domestic contract; it is an opportunity to work in a highly complex industrial environment. Your daily responsibilities will heavily involve conducting in-depth surveys across technically demanding areas of the site, including boiler rooms, expansive halls, and intricate piping networks. You will also be required to accurately take samples of any suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) and appropriately document the environment in-site.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- You must hold the BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
- You must have a demonstrable post-qualification track record, with proven and specific experience conducting complex industrial surveys (specifically dealing with environments like boiler rooms, heavy piping, and industrial halls).
- This will be a fully independent role; therefore, you must be highly experienced in working under your own initiative, independently managing your own weekly schedule and workload, and ensuring the timely submission of survey reports and samples.
