Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Glasgow and the wider Central Belt of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking for stability, regional coverage, and long-term security within a professional and well-managed environment.

You''ll be joining an established asbestos consultancy with a strong pipeline of work across Scotland. The company places an emphasis on quality, realistic workloads, and providing its field-based teams with the operational support required to deliver work to a high standard.

• Delivering Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

• Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector properties

• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling where required

• Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports

• Managing your own diary and workload effectively

• Travelling across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt

• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives

• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)

• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation

• Previous commercial surveying experience is desirable

• Comfortable working independently in a field-based position

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Professional, organised, and reliable

• Full UK driving licence
