My client has around 30 team members that cover a range of disciplines such as fire and safety, water treatment, energy sector and Asbestos Surveying. They are looking to take someone on as an Asbestos Surveyor but then develop you into a multiskilled, dual-trained environmental operator. Most likely starting with getting your EPC and get you trained in Exeter for a week then moving onto becoming a Retrofitter. The majority of their work is on domestic housing in the Southwest and Wales, but they do not expect quantity, they want 4 quality surveys done in a day.Key Duties and Responsibilities for an Asbestos Surveyor:Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys on various sitesTo be up to date with asbestos legislation, guidance and industry best practice including UKAS accreditation and quality management arrangementsTo take personal responsibility for maintaining technical expertise and an awareness of current issues in the sectorTo take personal responsibility to meet own billing and productivity targetsTo ensure that the culture of the company is one that is honest and open and values everyone''s opinions and contributionsTo contribute to a culture that is positive about the companyTo contribute to a culture that enables PCL to be a learning organisation open to challenge and changeRequired ..... full job details .....
