Salary/Benefits: -26k - -42k DOE + Training & Benefits

This well-regarded UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy is seeking a hardworking asbestos surveyor based in the North East. They can also considering Asbestos Analysts who have a good working history in the asbestos industry. Applicants will need to hit the ground running carrying out asbestos surveys on commercial and domestic sites with maintaining high standards and following compliance guidelines. Applicants will be located around: Longbenton, Wallsend, Gateshead, Ponteland, North Shields, South Shields, Whitley Bay, Seaton Sluice, Cramlington, Blyth, Bedlington, Morpeth, Pegswood, Ashington, Woodhorn, Lynemouth, Prudhoe, Blaydon, Ryton, Wylam, Kirkharle, East Boldon, Stocksfield

Experience / Qualifications:

• Working for an UKAS accredited company
• Experience working on commercial and domestic sites
• Qualified with BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• P403 and P404 beneficial but not essential
• Strong working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• Proficient in literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Willing to learn and determined
• Building a good rapport with clients

The Role:

• Undertaking asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
• Collecting ACM samples from site
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Exceeding performance targets and meeting deadlines
• Producing detailed technical reports and schematic drawings
• Ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
• Complying with H&S and compliance guidelines
