Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: 26k - 42k DOE + Training and Benefits A UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy is seeking a credible Asbestos Surveyor based in West Yorkshire. Who can complete asbestos surveys on a range of commercial and domestic premises and provide bespoke technical advice to clients. We can consider candidates from: Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Manchester, Bolton, Burnley, Harrogate, York, Wetherby, Otley, Ilkley, Skipton, Keighley, Halifax, Batley, Rochdale, Pontefract Experience / Qualifications: - Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for an UKAS accredited company - Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent - Good technical knowledge, including: UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines - Amazing client facing skills - Good literacy and numeracy skills - Proficient in using IT software The Role: - Undertaking management, demolition, refurbishment and re-inspection asbestos surveys - Safely obtaining ACM samples from site - Collating findings to produce detailed technical survey reports - Working in line with company targets and deadlines - Ensuring to provide a high level of service - Wearing correct PPE at all times Alternative job titles: Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Inspector, Environmental Consultant.
