A respected asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support ongoing projects across Basildon and the wider South East region.

The Role

• Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG264 guidance

• Surveying a range of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties across the South East

• Accurately identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials

• Producing clear, detailed, and compliant survey reports

• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues

• Managing site visits and reporting deadlines effectively

• Ensuring all work is delivered in line with current legislation, HSE guidance, and company quality procedures

Requirements

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognised equivalent)

• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy

• Strong working knowledge of asbestos regulations and best practice

• Ability to organise and manage a field-based workload independently

• Good communication and report writing skills

• Full UK driving licence
