Asbestos Surveyor

We are recruiting for an-Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading organisation. Working from home and going to site the-role involves carrying out asbestos management and refurbishment/demolition surveys across residential properties, including houses and flats, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos management surveys on domestic properties.
• Collect asbestos samples safely and accurately.
• Record survey findings using electronic reporting systems.
• Produce clear, accurate survey data for report preparation.
• Work in compliance with HSE guidance and company procedures.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with tenants, clients, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent recognised asbestos surveying qualification).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good understanding of current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Previous experience surveying residential housing stock and flats.
• Experience using handheld survey/reporting software.
