Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyre
Salary/Benefits: -25k - -42k DOE + Training & Benefits

Our client is a medium sized company, with a growing presence in the North East. They are currently looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor who can hit the ground running, travelling to various client sites to carry out surveys and offer clients with bespoke technical advice. Applicants must be flexible to travel in line with company requirements and will need to be competent to operate across commercial, domestic and local authority client premises. There are excellent opportunities to build on industry experience, including gaining further P Certification modules. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must be qualified with BOHS P402, S301 or RSPH equivalent
- Signed off to undertake asbestos surveys on a range of client sites
- Worked for a UKAS accredited company as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Great interpersonal skills
- Professional manner
- Well informed of HSG 264 guidelines
- Driven and diligent
- IT literate

The Role:
- Meet with clients providing technical knowledge based on findings
- Achieving set surveying targets and deadlines
- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting samples from site
- Write up regular, meticulous survey reports
- Working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, public sector and local authority client sites
- Wearing correct PPE on site
- Maintain high standards of work
