Location: London, M25 and South EastDay Rate: 250- 300 per day, depending on experience and roleContract: Initial contract with potential to go permanent after 3 months Astute People are currently recruiting for experienced Asbestos Surveyors and Asbestos Analysts to join an established, independent asbestos consultancy due to a strong and ongoing workload across London, the M25 and wider South East. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent contract work with the potential to move into a permanent position if it''s the right fit for both sides.The RoleYou''ll be predominantly field-based, working across a mixture of commercial and domestic properties. The business currently has a strong pipeline of work, with contractors consistently busy and additional resource required to keep up with demand. Asbestos Surveyors will be responsible for:Carrying out asbestos surveys across a range of commercial and domestic propertiesIdentifying and assessing asbestos-containing materialsTaking samples and producing accurate reportsWorking in line with UKAS, HandS and company proceduresAsbestos Analysts will be responsible for:Air monitoring and fibre monitoring4-stage clearance testingProducing accurate reports and maintaining client relationshipsWorking in line with UKAS requirements and relevant legislationAbout YouSurveyors:P402 or RSPH equivalentMinimum 12 months'' asbestos surveying experienceExperience across a range of property typesAnalysts:P403 and P404 or ..... full job details .....
