Our client is carrying out demolition works at Ratcliffe Power Station. The duration for the project is 4 years and we need a team of experienced asbestos operatives to work alongside our demolition team. Duties Safely remove, contain, and dispose of asbestos materials following strict regulatory guidelines and company procedures Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers, decontamination units, and appropriate signage Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carefully dismantle or remove asbestos-containing structures or materials Conduct thorough inspections of work areas to identify hazards and ensure all asbestos is properly handled and disposed of Maintain detailed records of removal activities, waste disposal documentation, and site inspections Follow all health and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during operations Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently while maintaining a f...
