Asbestos Management Operative Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking. Package: Starting from 24,160 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working Pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day. For this role, employees are required to work fully onsite. We support flexible working arrangements where possible, including part-time and varied working hours, while maintaining an onsite presence. AWE is currently recruiting for an Asbestos Management Operative for the Radiochemistry Group. The purpose of the role is inspecting buildings/ structures to find, test, and manage asbestos containing materials. Key duties include carrying out safety surveys, collecting material samples, and maintaining the company asbestos registers. Key accountabilities include: Actively maintain a register detailing the location, type, amount, and condition of all Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs) or presumed ACMs. Work in line with relevant health and safety legislation, AWE standards and regulatory requirements, including the Control of Asbestos Regulations. ..... full job details .....
