Asbestos AnalystLocation: London, M25 and South East Rate: 250- 300 per day, depending on experience Contract: Contract-to-Permanent Astute People are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join an established, independent asbestos consultancy with a strong and ongoing workload across London, the M25 and wider South East. This is an opportunity to join a busy team on an initial contract basis, with the potential to move permanently after approximately 3 months if it''s the right fit for both you and the business.The RoleAs an Asbestos Analyst, you''ll be predominantly field-based, working across a mixture of commercial and domestic properties. Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out air monitoring and fibre monitoringUndertaking 4-stage clearance testingProducing accurate reports using tablet/handheld technologyWorking in accordance with UKAS requirements, legislation and company proceduresMaintaining strong client relationshipsEnsuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standardWorking across a varied and busy project portfolioAbout YouTo be considered, you''ll need:P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalent qualificationsRelevant asbestos analysis experienceExperience with air monitoring and 4-stage clearancesFull UK driving licenceGood understanding of UKAS requirements and asbestos legislationStrong health and safety awarenessGood communication and client-facing skillsA thorough and diligent approach to your workFlexibility to undertake night work, ..... full job details .....
