Artworker, Large Format Digital Print & Graphics

Overview

Experienced Artworker and Artwork Processor, Large Format Digital Print – Essex. A highly regarded large format digital print business seeks a strong, multiskilled Artworker with proven skills in large format print, POS and display graphics to strengthen their Production Services team. You must possess excellent working knowledge of the latest version of Adobe CC, especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat, and be capable of fast preparation of print-ready files from artworks supplied by clients.You will be proactive and self-motivated, able to work to multiple deadlines whilst under pressure, yet careful and methodical with a very good attention to detail. You will follow brand guidelines, have an excellent eye for detail and strong typography skills, and be able to support Account Managers and oversee client projects from start to finish.It is imperative that you understand large format print and production processes, as you will book jobs onto the production system.Responsibilities

Split day between finding and amending previous jobs and setting up client artwork (creating cutter guides, white ink layers, etc.) and creating print-ready files.Set up jobs on the system, enter all details and handle delivery paperwork.Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills; perform advanced artworking (not a design role).Follow brand guidelines with an excellent eye for detail and typography; communicate effectively and coordinate with team members.Assist with supporting account managers, overseeing projects from start to finish (artwork processing, through the production department, ensuring dispatch on time).Book jobs onto the production system; be flexible to support paid overtime when needed.Role requirements

Excellent knowledge of the latest version of Adobe CC, especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.Capable of fast preparation of print-ready files from artworks supplied by clients.Proactive and self-motivated; able to work to multiple deadlines under pressure.Careful and methodical with good attention to detail.Good understanding of large format print and production processes.Able to follow brand guidelines with an excellent eye for detail and typography skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organisational skills.Able to support account managers, overseeing projects from start to finish (artwork processing, through the production department and ensuring dispatched on time).Booking jobs onto the production system.Willing to support paid overtime hours when needed.Desirable (not essential)

Creative design capabilities.Experience in signage, retail graphics, POS, exhibition and displays sector.Experience of production and installation techniques.Essential software

Adobe CC, especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.Beneficial software (not essential)
