Job Title: Art-workerSalary: Up to 35k Location: CheshamMy client is looking for an Art worker to join their team, this is a manual/ computer based role, and carrying out the initial stages of the print process. You will be creating print ready files with print sheets for print operators, once trained you will be given more responsibility and that would include taking the lead on running samples, colour matching and running new client samples, demonstrating creativity and the ability to manipulate artwork and print software to create the desired print finish.Responsibilities/ Skills: Preparing print ready artwork using adobe Illustrator and In Design and Caldera rip software Operation of all in house printing and cutting machines Sense checking all print jobs to ensure it is fit for Production/Printing Maintaining stock levels Ordering materials for printers Colour matching/ Pantone matching Liaising with engineers for print machine maintenance Maintain data base of all print ready files and file accordingly in client folders Create print operation sheets for print and cut operators Work with sales and project managers RandD creating new print finishes and print methods in down-time Adobe illustrator Adobe in-Design Print operation UV and latex Rip software such as caldera Printing profiles Colour matching Creating print ready artwork Attributes:Team playerHardworking ..... full job details .....
