The Opportunity
Supply Desk is working with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Portsmouth to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time position running through to December, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.
You''ll join a supportive department committed to inspiring creativity in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging Art lessons that explore a range of media and techniques.
We welcome applications from qualified teachers, ECTs, and unqualified teachers with relevant experience in secondary Art education.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons for KS3 and KS4 students
Promote creativity, self-expression, and confidence through art
Track and assess student progress, offering clear, constructive feedback
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support wider school life, including Art clubs, displays, and enrichment opportunities
