About the Art Teacher Role:
We are seeking an exceptional-Art Teacher-to join our dedicated-Art-department. The successful-Art Teacher-will have the opportunity to teach-Art-across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for visual expression.
What you''ll do as an Art Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and artistic abilities.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.
- Teach a variety of Art techniques and media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
- Encourage students to engage with Art history and contemporary art practices.
- Organise and participate in school exhibitions and art events.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Art, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Art teaching.
What you''ll need to be a successful Art Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in-Art, Fine Art, or a related field.
- Experience teaching-Art-at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for-Art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for-Art-and a commitment to inspiring students.
