Position Summary:
The post involves teaching KS3 and KS4 Art, supporting GCSE coursework and examination preparation. There is a strong emphasis on portfolio development, independent thinking, and exploring personal identity through art.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art

• Plan projects that promote creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills

• Manage exhibitions and displays to celebrate student work

• Support after-school clubs and community art initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Fine Art or related discipline with QTS

• Experience teaching a wide range of artistic media

• Ability to inspire creativity and nurture talent across ability levels

• Strong organisational skills and an enthusiasm for co-curricular activities
