Art Teacher - Stoke-on-Trent - Easter Start - Permanent / Temp-to-Perm

Are you a passionate and qualified Art Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a well-managed and supportive school?

Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, seeking to appoint a dedicated Art Teacher to join their department team. This is a full-time role starting from Easter, with the option of a permanent position or at least temp-to-perm arrangement.

The school is known for its clear behaviour policies and high expectations, helping to create a focused teaching environment.



About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire creativity and encourage students to develop their artistic skills
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department


Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for teaching and the arts
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
