Job Description

Clarence Recruitment are seeking an experienced and innovative Art Teacher for an immediate start at a large 11-18 mixed comprehensive school in Coventry. This temporary position runs until the end of the academic year and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a thriving and well-resourced Arts department.
This role is ideal for an Art Teacher looking to gain immediate experience within a specialist Arts-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging creative lessons
• Support student progress and achievement
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and exhibitions where appropriate
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom management in line with school policies

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas-trained equivalent
• PGCE in Art or a degree-level qualification in a related subject
• Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Recent experience teaching in a secondary school (within the last two years)
• Passion for creative education and student engagement
