About the Role:

• Teach stimulating and imaginative Art and Design lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Plan, assess, and tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Foster a creative and supportive classroom environment that promotes artistic expression.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the department to enhance student achievement and contribute to curriculum planning.
• Uphold strong standards of behaviour and actively engage students in their learning.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level, especially across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Adopts a flexible, creative, and inclusive approach to teaching.
• Shows strong classroom management abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Committed to long-term roles and passionate about supporting student achievement.
