About the Role:
- Teach stimulating and imaginative Art and Design lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Plan, assess, and tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Foster a creative and supportive classroom environment that promotes artistic expression.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the department to enhance student achievement and contribute to curriculum planning.
- Uphold strong standards of behaviour and actively engage students in their learning.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level, especially across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Adopts a flexible, creative, and inclusive approach to teaching.
- Shows strong classroom management abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Committed to long-term roles and passionate about supporting student achievement.
