Pay: andpound;160 - andpound;238 per day (Dependent on Experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design andamp; Technology and Art andamp; Design Teacher to join a secondary school in the Southampton area. Starting in September 2025, this full-time position will involve teaching a variety of creative and technical subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school are looking to make this position permanent for the right person and are happy to consider an ECT and an experience Design andamp; Technology and Art andamp; Design Teacher for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical, and creative lessons in Design andamp; Technology and Art andamp; Design



• Teach a range of disciplines, including Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, Food Technology, and Visual Arts



• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes independent thinking and creativity



• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners and track student progress effectively



• Take part in curriculum development and contribute to whole-school initiatives



• Support or lead extracurricular clubs, creative workshops, and exhibitions



• Participate actively in the wider school community and enrichment activities
