Art and Design Teacher / Cannock / June Start / Fixed-Term Contract

A fantastic secondary school in the Cannock area of South Staffordshire is eager to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Art and Design Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis from 1st June through to the end of the summer term (17th July).

Starting after the May half-term, the successful candidate will be deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. The role involves teaching Art and Design up to KS4, alongside Design Technology at KS3.

Art and Design Teacher - Role Information:

• Providing KS3 & KS4 education to students
• Creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences tailored to curriculum
• Building meaningful rapport with student over a 2 month period
• Contract runs from June to July 2026
• Daily rate: -170230 during term-time

Art and Design Teacher - Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status - Secondary Art and/or Design Technology
• Recent experience teaching Art & Design
• Minimum 2:2 university degree
• Excellent communication and organisation skillset
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Passionate about student development and engagement
• Eager to secure long-term role within a strong Art department
