ECTs and Experienced Teachers Welcome to Apply!About the RoleCover People are currently recruiting for an Art & Design Teacher to join a supportive and creative secondary school in Manchester, starting from September 2026 for a full term as a minimum.
This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4. ECTs will benefit from a supportive induction and mentoring programme, while experienced teachers will have the opportunity to contribute to a thriving and collaborative department.
M1–M6 Teachers will be paid to scale from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Art & Design teaching in line with national curriculum standards
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and GCSE Art & Design
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Support the academic and personal development of all learners
- Contribute positively to department planning and wider school initiatives
- QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Art & Design
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for teaching and pupil progress
- Right to work in the UK
