Area Sales Manager Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 + Bonus StructureLocation: UK Wide (Remote / Field-Based)We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in packaging machinery to join a leading industrial equipment business.This is a field-based role covering the UK, so candidates can be based anywhere in the country, provided they are comfortable with regular national travel to customers.The successful candidate will have a proven track record selling packaging machinery or closely related capital equipment into manufacturing, food, FMCG, e-commerce, or industrial production environments. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business, and delivering technical, solution-led sales from initial enquiry through to order and installation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and grow sales of packaging machinery across UK manufacturing sectorsManage and expand key customer accountsIdentify and win new business opportunitiesConduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultationsWork closely with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutionsPrepare quotations and manage full sales cycle activityAchieve and exceed sales and revenue targetsRequirements:Essential: Experience selling packaging machinery or similar capital equipmentStrong technical understanding of industrial machinery and production processesProven B2B sales experience in a field-based or national roleStrong relationship-building and consultative ..... full job details .....
