Area Sales Manager Timber and Construction Products Job Title: Area Sales Manager Timber and Construction Products Industry Sector: Sawn timber, carcassing timber, construction timber, pallet wood and packaging material timber, Canadian lumber, machined whitewoods, saw milling, decking and fencing timber Area to be covered: Northern Ireland + Louth, Monaghan, Donegal and Cavan Salary: £60,000-£65,000 Negotiable/ dependent on experience Benefits: Fully expensed Hybrid Car + full benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Timber and Construction Products will involve: Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of sawn timber including; carcassing timber, pallet wood and packaging material timber, Canadian lumber, machined whitewoods, saw milling, block wood, kiln dried decking and fencing timber Selling into builders merchants, timber merchants and buying groups Building relationships and managing existing portfolio of clients Dealing with order values from €12k - €250k Taking over an established region with circa 200+ active accounts Four and a half days on the road visiting customers, half a day working from home/ admin Working to a 6-12 week journey plan depending on the value of accounts, typically 6 customer calls per day Contributing towards 120,000 cubic meters of material sales (50%+ of this will be managed by the internal team at head office) Two-three overnight stays per month dependent on location The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales ..... full job details .....
