Area Sales Manager

If you are an experienced B2B sales professional who enjoys winning new business, developing customer relationships and selling technical solutions, this could be a great opportunity to take ownership of a South UK territory. We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South of England, from Northampton downwards. This is a field based role where you will be responsible for growing sales across a strong industrial customer base, developing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. You will need to come from a capital equipment, systems or technical solutions sales environment. This could be experience selling industrial equipment, machinery, engineering systems, production equipment, automation or other project based solutions into manufacturing businesses. The role is approximately 60% new business development and 40% account management, so you will need to be comfortable proactively identifying opportunities as well as building long term relationships with existing customers.
