Area Sales Manager (Agricultural Machinery)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently looking for a driven sales professional to work for a well-established supplier of various agricultural equipment to cover and develop their client base across East of England and the Southeast. With a package to include a competitive salary and commission scheme as well as a company car this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced salesperson looking to take on a new role.ResponsibilitiesLooking after a strong, existing customer base within agricultural equipment Business development across the East of England and the surrounding areas selling tractors and other agricultural productsProviding a consultative approach to customers and assist product demonstrations from time to timeTake responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growthSell the companies range of products and cooperate effectively with the service and parts team RequirementsIdeally, you will have some previous experience in a sales role, preferably with a background in agricultural machinery or another area within agriculture, with some experience of equipment including tractors and combine harvesters. However, they may be open to individuals from other capital equipment backgrounds, including construction machinery and material handling, or agriculture professionals from another area.
