Good negotiable salary dependent upon experience, plus Company Car, Pension and other benefits.On behalf of our client we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced field-based Area Sales Engineer with a proven track record as a business developer and an excellent salesman in the Electrical Control and Automation industry.Responsibilities

Sell a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products, including Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, PLC and HMI, and all control system components into the OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets across the East Midlands.Develop and manage an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.Work to defined sales targets and create a personal plan to achieve objectives.Collaborate effectively as part of a team while maintaining a degree of autonomy and good organisational skills; proficient in Microsoft packages.Qualifications

Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a track record of sales success.An Electrical/Electronic qualification to ONC or above is a plus, but not required.Ability to demonstrate knowledge and ability to sell in the industrial electrical and control and automation sector.Good organisational and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.Location
