Area Sales Engineer

to drive new business growth and strengthen customer relationships within a designated UK territory. As part of Sulzer’s Services team, you’ll leverage our UK footprint and capabilities to identify opportunities, deliver bespoke solutions, and shape long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales plan, identifying priority targets, leads, and opportunities across electro-mechanical, pump, and turbo service lines.

Research and understand customer profiles and market trends to tailor compelling pitches.

Build strong, productive relationships with both new and existing customers.

Collaborate closely with Service Centres and engineering teams to ensure technical solutions are delivered seamlessly.

Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities, presenting Sulzer’s complete service offering.

Own and exceed allocated sales targets, contributing to the growth of Sulzer’s UK business.

Qualifications

Proven success in sales within a fast-paced service environment.

Strong track record of generating new business and developing customer relationships.

Commercial acumen with the ability to sell value propositions.

Familiarity with engineering products or aftermarket services

Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.

Resilient, proactive, and results-focused with a collaborative mindset.

Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and basic PandL understanding.
