MS729 - Area Safety Advisor Location: Cradley Heath, Midlands based, but covering Manchester and South West Salary: £40,000 £50,000 per annum + Car allowance Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Area Safety Manager on behalf of one of our Clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and submit quarterly Health and Safety reports to the Managing Director.Coordinate, interpret and present company Health and Safety statistics.Provide advice, guidance and support on the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, relevant regulations and Health and Safety matters relating to company activities.Advise management, supervisors, staff and operatives on statutory regulations, company safety policies and procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and quality plans.Keep up to date with changes in Health and Safety legislation, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, making recommendations to the Company Health and Safety Committee.Maintain close contact with HSE inspectors, safety associations, industry safety committees and relevant Health and Safety publications.Advise on and deliver Health and Safety, fire prevention and firefighting training as required.Investigate and report serious accidents and dangerous occurrences, identifying ways to prevent recurrence and providing information for management review and ..... full job details .....
