Architectural Designer / Urban Designer Location: Dorset Salary: £28,000/£35,000 Penguin is proud to be working with a specialist independent masterplanning and urban design consultancy on an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Designer / Urban Designer to join their growing team. The practice specialises in masterplanning, urban design, architecture, strategic planning and landscape architecture, working on a diverse range of projects from high-density urban regeneration and town centre schemes through to residential developments and large-scale mixed-use communities. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded designer to work across projects from the initial concept and feasibility stages through to planning and detailed implementation. You''ll have the opportunity to: Develop innovative masterplans, architectural layouts and urban design proposals. Work on residential, mixed-use, regeneration and community-led developments. Produce high-quality design concepts, site layouts and presentation material. Contribute to masterplanning and urban design strategies. Work collaboratively with clients, planners, architects, landscape architects and other consultants. Develop design solutions that balance design quality, planning requirements and commercial viability. Contribute to projects from early-stage visioning through to planning and implementation.
