Salary: -32-40,000 DOE

An award-winning architectural practice with over 90 years of experience and a talented team of 50+ professionals is seeking an Architect or Architectural Technician to join their Canterbury studio. The practice delivers a broad range of services including master planning, heritage consultancy, and principal designer services across the Residential, Heritage, Leisure & Hospitality, and Education sectors in Kent and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to work on residential projects from inception through to completion within a collaborative, dynamic team environment.

Daily Duties

• Provide technical expertise and support to the design team
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and current standards
• Coordinate design packages produced by the wider design team
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality designs
• Manage projects through all RIBA work stages

Ideal Candidate

• Over several years post-graduation experience, ideally in the residential sector
• Excellent design skills with strong knowledge of Building Regulations
• Experience running projects through all RIBA work stages
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Revit is an advantage
• Excellent presentation skills
• Able to work collaboratively and contribute to a dynamic team environment
• Experience delivering RIBA Stage 4-6 projects for major house building clients is desirable
