The relevant Architectural Technologist:
- Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent (HND/HNC considered)
- Demonstrable UK experience in a similar role
- Strong technical portfolio, ideally covering commercial/industrial projects
- Proficiency in Revit (essential); AutoCAD advantageous
- Solid knowledge of UK construction methods, Building Regulations, and technical standards
- Highly organised with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Key responsibilities:
- Producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings across planning, tender, and construction stages
- Developing coordinated, buildable technical solutions from design concepts
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers on layouts
- Supporting projects through RIBA Stages 1-5
- Preparing and managing planning applications, advising clients on requirements
- Ensuring all outputs comply with Building Regulations, codes, and best practice
- Carrying out site visits, preparing reports, and resolving technical queries
- Assisting with scope of work documents and contributing to design risk registers
