Architectural Technician Job in East Grinstead, West Sussex

A successful architectural practice in West Sussex has an Architectural Technician job available. The role will see you working on high-rise projects in London, with a focus on cladding remediation and retrofit. You''ll be part of a dedicated technical team delivering safety-critical schemes in response to new building regulations.

Our client, a well-established architectural practice, is entering an exciting new phase of growth with a robust pipeline of projects. Their diverse portfolio encompasses residential, educational, healthcare, and sustainability sectors.

They are currently leading high-profile cladding remediation projects for multilevel buildings in London and managing a variety of retrofit projects across the UK. Due to this expansion, they are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities

RIBA Stage 4 through to constructionProducing drawings, technical documents, and specificationsEnsuring regulatory compliance, including the Building Safety Act and associated gatewaysOverseeing site inspections and responding to site queriesMaintaining design and technical qualityLiaising with clients and participating in client-facing responsibilities.

Required Skills and Experience

Recognised qualification in architectural technology or equivalentPossess a minimum of 3 years of UK project experienceExperience with Revit is essentialStrong technical and detailing ability,Experience in retrofit and remediation work would be highly beneficialEffective communicator - both written and verbal.
