Architectural Technician/ Technologist

About the Role We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join our small, friendly practice. Working closely with the Architect Director, you will play a key role in transforming design concepts into detailed technical drawings from planning through to construction.Our projects are predominantly focused on period property renovations and restorations, alongside a selection of high-quality new build residential schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for traditional architecture, conservation principles, and technical excellence.Key Responsibilities Design and Technical Production Develop initial design concepts provided by the Architect Director into drawings suitable for planning applications.Convert approved planning drawings into comprehensive technical working drawing packages.Produce detailed construction drawings and technical details at all scales.Prepare joinery, masonry, and bespoke construction details for planning and construction purposes.Compile tender packages including schedules, specifications, and supporting documentation.Prepare Building Regulations notes and assist in coordinating project delivery. Project Coordination Attend site visits, contractor meetings, and client meetings as required.Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered accurately and in line with the design vision.Support the management of project programmes, budgets, and timelines.Maintain ..... full job details .....
